The evidence in one place.
A real Backmi TestFlight screen showing the worker's score, verified areas and confirmed references together.
Backmi is built around verified work evidence and worker-controlled access. This page explains what we check, what we store, who can see it, and what happens when something is wrong.

These are captures from the current iPhone TestFlight build using a seeded test profile. They are product screens, not marketing mockups.

A real Backmi TestFlight screen showing the worker's score, verified areas and confirmed references together.

Each area keeps its own status, source and points so a hirer can see what actually moved the score.
A Ghana Card biometric check links the profile to the worker. Backmi keeps the result of the check, not a photo of the Ghana Card.
A household opens a profile through the worker's QR or time-limited PIN. A business requests access and waits for the candidate to approve or decline.
Badges and reports show where evidence came from: identity provider, past employers, issuing institutions or Backmi-recorded work.

The current TestFlight flow explains the Ghana Card face match, the NIA source and what Backmi keeps before the worker starts verification.

The worker shares a QR code or six-digit PIN. The PIN expires automatically, and the household does not need a Backmi account.
A company sends a check request describing what it wants to access. The candidate sees the request and approves or declines before a report is created.
Past employers answer through a direct link. Their identity and contact details are protected from the person reading the worker profile.
Backmi rejects or discounts patterns where a worker appears to be acting as their own referee.
Suspicious patterns such as workers vouching for each other or one referee number being heavily reused can be flagged or excluded.
A referee whose own identity is verified can carry stronger evidential weight than a phone-only confirmation.
Backmi job-history evidence comes from work recorded on the platform and rated by the person who hired the worker.
An unresolved check is shown as pending rather than silently treated as confirmed. Pending documents contribute only partially until resolved.
The trust score is derived from verification events. The visible badges and sources explain what contributed to it.
A worker can challenge incorrect employment information, ratings or another verification item.
Disputed information is not treated as ordinary confirmed evidence while it is being reviewed.
Backmi can go back to the recorded source, event or supporting evidence before updating the profile.
A completed business check is a frozen view of the evidence available for the requested package when the candidate agreed. Backmi's current business workflow keeps reports for 90 days.
No. Worker profiles are not a public directory. Access comes from worker sharing or candidate-approved business checks.
The product is designed to keep the result of the identity match rather than a Ghana Card image as part of the worker profile.
No. It is derived from work-related verification events such as identity, references, platform job history and supported checks. Popularity, browsing behaviour and social-media activity are not part of it.
No. The business request remains pending until the candidate approves the requested access.
The worker can dispute an item so it can be reviewed and re-checked rather than remaining unquestioned on the profile.
