Does the candidate have to agree?
Yes. The candidate gets a text and says yes or no in the app. You see nothing until they say yes, and then only the parts of the package they agreed to.
How do we pay?
In early access checks are free. After that, buy prepaid credits with MoMo or card, or ask for monthly invoicing.
For referees
Why did I get a text from Backmi?
Someone listed you as a past employer. Three quick taps confirm when they worked for you. Your name and number stay private.
For workers
Is Backmi free for workers?
Yes. Building your profile, matching your Ghana Card and asking past employers to confirm your work is free. Companies pay when they check a profile, with your yes.
Who can see my profile?
Only people you share it with: by a PIN you give them, or a company you say yes to. You can stop sharing at any time.
Does Backmi keep a photo of my Ghana Card?
No. Backmi keeps only whether your face matched your card. The card image and your photo are never stored.
What if my referee doesn't answer?
Call them and tell them a text from Backmi is coming. You can send the request again from the app.
